The Biwako Sosui Boat, which connects Otsu and Kyoto, is in operation every day until June 11.
The guided sightseeing boat (capacity: 12 passengers downstream and 9 passengers upstream) travels 7.8 km between Otsu and Keage.
Reservations are required. Reservations can be made through the reservation system on the official website, by mail. Fees vary depending on the season.
